The bright blooms of summer have got me thinking about color palettes, and how they impact psychology. And if you've followed me for a while, there's one thing you should know by now:

I LOVE COLORS.

When it comes to decorating my new home, this has been a bit of a problem since every painting, placemat, oven mitt or shower curtain has a clashing pattern and color palette.

But this love has also inspired all of the work in my biz.

For the past few years, Beige has been "on trend" - particularly for babies. Etsy reported a 67% increase in "beige" as a search term in 2023. In raising two babes of my own, I've noticed that most of the baby goods and decor out there seem to look like this nowadays:

If you missed the increase in neutral tones, muted Scandinavian style, and off-white muslin baby blankets, and want to know what I'm talking about, go check out this lady who makes hilarious videos about beige baby things. She makes me feel less alone, struggling to stay afloat in the sea of beige.

But the point of this rant is not to judge or knock beige-loving mommas. It's to promote my own products.

LOL.

But seriously. Especially with everything going on in the world over the past few years, we need some fun, some joy, some COLOR in our lives. Dont'cha think?!

Yes yes. I know you agree.

So I've been working on making sure all my color-loving mommas out there have what they need to put together joyful rooms for their kiddos.

And don't worry. If neutrals are more your thing, I still have you covered. Check out my latest Safari Collection and Doggy Alphabet prints - a bit more subdued, but still cute as ever.

Is there a colorful theme you'd like me to cover in my next creation? Leave a comment let me know! I love love love new ideas.

Until the next colorful product drop, folks.

Xoxo,

Carrie
